There are also various locations for me to work at and depending on my schedule I am able to go to a facility that would be closer for me. What is your nursing specialty and what facilities/locations do you usually work at? I work on a range of different wards. From medical, surgical, neurology, rehabilitation, and Cardiac depending on where I am needed for the day in the hospital. Describe a rewarding experience you’ve had whilst working with VNS? A rewarding experience I have had while working with VNS is feeling as part of the team at the facilities I work at. The allocations team also have good communication regarding any changes to shifts. What advice would you give to other nurses looking for an agency role? Agency work at first can be daunting, but once you've been to a new hospital/facility a few times it is less daunting. The advice I would like to give other nurses is for your first shift, or when going to new places with the agency, arrive 15 minutes earlier to settle in and familiarise yourself with the team and ward you will be working on for the day. It has helped me with working agency and I find it makes a difference to how I feel going into that shift for the day. Thanks Niroshima, and we look forward to having another great year with you at VNS.
